Ling Ling Choir was formed May 2007, as a women’s choir for Japanese expatriates living in Beijing, China. Their conductor and director, 原田和子graduated from the National Tokyo University of Music, specializing in piano education, choir pedagogy, and musical composition. 仙仁幹子 and仁林香are the musical accompanists for this choir of 40 women. The vision of Ling Ling Choir is to use the music arts to express the love and friendship towards China, from the overseas Japanese community living here, in order to further contribute to the ever-growing Sino-Japanese friendship.

 

Decemeber 22, 2007, Ling Ling Choir performed at the Changfu Gong Hotel for the local Japanese community. April 12, 2008, the choir performed in the Main Hall of China’s Chuanmei University.
